Justice Systems has over 29 years of experience completing major system upgrades projects for justice facilities. We have upgraded or expanded many of the major jails and prisons throughout the Northwest (Washington, Oregon, and Idaho), and several projects in California. During our upgrades we focus on minimizing downtime and disruptions. We work with our customers to plan and execute our “engineered cutover” approach.
We frequently lead systems upgrades as the prime contractor, using proactive management and supervision to ensure these projects are executed successfully and efficiently. Justice Systems is equipped with all the licensing, certifications, project managers, and information technology systems to excel as your general contractor.
Through our initial planning services, Justice Systems has engineered, scoped, budgeted, and planned hundreds of system upgrades for our agency clients. If you need assistance, let us know how we can help.
We lead systems upgrades as the prime contractor using proactive management and supervision to ensure quality.
Justice Systems’ design and project management abilities are amongst their greatest strengths. On both the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI) and the Clallam County Jail upgrade projects, they did an excellent job of investigating the existing facilities in detail and engineering the integration into approved shop drawings. Whenever we queried client security staff, they indicated Justice Systems was coordinating its activities well in advance to minimize disruption and escort staffing costs. In every case, our clients’ responses about Justice Systems’ work are positive and we are unaware of any exceptions to this.
Justice Systems was engaged with Klickitat County for the design-build of a new control system for the Klickitat County Jail. They accommodated the County during the demolition stage to keep mandatory items online during this process. The crew worked diligently during the install, so that the schedule was followed without issues and project was completed on time. The project was completed on budget and payments were only requested for items that were satisfactorily completed.
When the Clallam County Correction Facility needed to update and remodel our antiquated control room, Justice Systems came through with a solution to bring us into the 21st century. They were able to integrate and build a solution to allow a single employee to safely monitor and control our 120-bed linear-style facility. Even with the challenges of the COVID pandemic, Justice Systems stayed on schedule and met this challenge better than I expected. With the control room being the heart of our facility, my Correction Deputies were able to continue with daily operations with very minimal disruption.
